UPDATE: I’ve been working as a technical writer and really enjoying it!
I am a Full-Stack Web Developer proficient in LAMP and some experience in Scala/JVM applications, as well as many diverse technologies such as Apache Solr and pretty much every server caching system. I have a lot of experience creating and consuming APIs of all kinds. Lately I’ve been working with GIS data and creating GIS applications.
On servers, I can install and configure everything needed for web applications from MySQL & Apache to Java to Nginx.
I can also get around in the front end with HTML, CSS, and JavaScript (also Coffeescript and a bit of SASS) and just enough of the frameworks Angular and Backbone.js to be dangerous.
I am a quick learner, and can usually jump in and start helping with the project workload quickly.
